Aquarius is the second sign of the winter and is represented by a drawing of water waves. During the duration of Aquarius, we experience the coldest days and longest nights of the year. There is freshness/purity in the air and germination in the ground.
As you enter the natural cleansing of your body, adopt a restorative and balanced diet. Prioritise foods like spinach, egg yolk, broccoli and citrus who are high in vitamin C, iron and calcium.
During this period and to support your body, avoid stimulants (coffee and alcohol), rich, fatty and sweet foods.
During the 1st decan (21-30 Jan) protect your nervous and cardiovascular system by eating oleaginous fruits such as walnut or almond who provide healthy fats, fiber, vitamins and minerals. They strengthens the immune system, soothes the nerves and balance the nervous system.
In the 2nd decan (31 jan-8 Feb) prevent snacking between meals by adding legumes into your diet. For example, lentils promote stable glycemic levels during digestion and keep you full until your next meal.
Good blood circulation in 3rd decan (9-21 feb), eat lemon, orange and parsley to strengthen and protect the blood vessels. Eat pear to release blood from its impurities and help restore good blood pressure.
