Call her Chef x OddBox | Collaboration November 2018
Did you know?
Around 30% of all food is wasted every year in the UK.
Up to 20% of waste occurs before it even leaves the farm gate.
Food waste is the third biggest emitter of greenhouse gases after the US and China.
This week I am doing a recipe collaboration with my favourite veg box; OddBox the wonky veg box delivered to homes.
OddBox use seasonal British produce whenever possible, sourcing their fruit and vegetable all the way from Lincolnshire to Kent. They give a second chance to the unwanted “odd” fruit and vegetable, the ones with different shapes, colours or sizes. They also use surplus and imported fruit depending on availability during winter months, providing variety to their boxes.
I love the brand, the concept and the way they manage to make it look super cool while keeping it very simple. The box design and the fun description printed on recyclable paper are wonderful.
Not only choosing OddBox will save you some shopping time, but you will also help fight food waste and support local growers, eat a variety of seasonal food for 30% cheaper, enjoy the convenience of farm to table freshness and help fight food poverty with food waste! Yah!
And just to make it even better, as part of the recipe collaboration, Oddbox have given me a code to share with you lovely people to get 50% off your first box - CHCBOX - So get yourself a yummy box HERE
Here is a quick, nutritious and tasty recipe using this week’s box ingredients: Find out more about my recipe - Give it a go, you won’t regret it.
